Happy Easter!

I know I'll be online off and on tomorrow but I doubt I will blog. I haven't been blogging much lately because lil G is officially teething. I can feel the sucker when I rub my finger over his gums. He pinches when he gets frustrated while eating but I am thanking God that I haven't felt the tooth. Or if I have I'm ignoring it. He's fussy, but not screaming bloody murder. That's another praise!

I need those of you who read this to please pray for my Uncle Lionel. He is currently in the hospital. He has Parkinson's and Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH)-http://www.neurologychannel.com/NPH/index.shtml
That's a brief overview of the disease. It took a long time for them to figure it out and it was back and forth so he's been living with both diseases for a few years. Earlier this week he went in and had been diagnosed with mild pneumonia and fluid in his frontal lobes. His shunt for his NPH is still working this is excess build up and they have no idea why. My cousin (his daughter) has been a nurse for 20+ years and she's not optimistic about him coming home better or if he does he won't be with us for much longer. He is my mom's only living brother, her baby brother passed away a few years ago, and other brothers passed before that. My mom has talked to him and she has more or less accepted the fact that he might not make it much longer. My prayer request for you all is just to pray for God's will to be done. I know that sounds vague but I've come to understand that things happen for a reason if we like it or not.

I've been truly blessed through out my whole life. Great family and friends, I have a good marriage, and I've got a beautiful 6 month old boy (and 2 wonderfully crazy dogs). I thank God everyday for what he has given me. I am so far from perfect most people who would first meet me would not think I am trying to be a good Christian or that I'm one at all. But here's the point to this, I'm trying my best and I'll slip up in big ways every now and then but I know it's all good.
