Summing up my week.

*disclaimer-I might offend, this is just my opinion, it's okay if you disagree*

Update on my uncle first: As of a few hours ago he was sleeping peacefully at hospice house in Forest City, NC (his and my mom's hometown). They moved him from the hospital in Charlotte on Thursday and today they were taking his vitals (routine) and they couldn't find his heart rate through his chest. My cousin Lisa (his granddaughter) left Mount Holly and headed out there. He's held on this long because he's got a strong heart and lungs. There is a few of us that think he's holding on for someone, we think it's my mom. But my mom isn't going to travel just yet. I need to call my dad and ask him. That's what I've always been thinking before I flew out 2 weeks ago. I had asked my mom's permission if it was okay for me to tell him for her that it was okay to go and she said no that it was my Aunt Hazel's (his wife) place to say it was okay for him to go. Not from my mom, from her. I don't know what to think now. I know God will take him in his own time.

Now for the stuff that could offend-

As I've mentioned I have somewhat conservative beliefs, if you didn't know now you do.

My first topic is FEMA and taking the campers/trailers out of New Orleans. Okay what is the deal with that?! What did those people do with the money the government gave them? Yeah, it wasn't much but it was something to start out. Now there were people who just bucked up and worked their butts off to get a home again. Then the lazy people who are living in the trailers still. Now I understand that there could be a good few of them who are actually disabled that have been working on getting themselves together that's understandable it's the ones who are lazy that give everybody else a bad name and just make me mad. A tornado hit Caruthersville, MO in March or April of 2006, a church was demolished, businesses, a good number of homes and the schools were hit. Yeah FEMA provided trailers/campers for the ones who didn't have a house to live in and for the high school students to go to school at but those trailers were gone in less than a year because that was the time frame given. Grrrrrr at the people wanting a handout and not working for it. But like I said, I'm more ticked of at the lazy people than the people who have a valid reason for still being in the trailers.

2nd topic. The Miss California crap.
IT'S HER OWN OPINION!!!!! Get over it! Grow up and respect people's opinions. It's varied opinions like that, that what makes this country great. Do I agree on gay marriage? No. I believe that it is between a man and a woman. That is my opinion and whatever if you don't like it. Yeah that's short but I'll get all riled up if I continue and I don't want that.

I hope everyone has a good day and rest of the weekend.
