Okay, I'll make a few statements...

This was sparked by a few articles that I recently saw dealing w/policies in the US. Some suspicious package found at the white house and an article I read a few months ago about a black family only buy from black owned stores.

Now my political views are somewhat conservative. I have my points on somethings. I did not vote for Obama. I'm not impressed with him at all. But since he is the President of this Country, I will pray everyday that he does what is best for the country and the people who live in it.

I like my guns, my healthcare provider, and my basic rights as an American. I believe that we should have English as the main language and require that all who want to be a resident in this country to speak English. I believe that we should respect all religions. One of the main reasons why people came to this country was for religious freedom so let's keep that one still going.

Although racism is still running rampant I truly believe that it is old and tiring nowadays. I'm 32 years old and there is more black/white racism now than there was when I was little. I'm tired of people making it a black/white issue. Everytime I hear someone start up around here saying that oh it's because so and so is black or what ever the case may be I just want to grab them and shake the snot out of them. Their focus is lacking and needs to regroup on themselves and if they have a family their families. I know it's beating a dead horse but that's been a big thing on my mind lately. One of the high schools in the area has just recently gotten a new principal and there are some people making it a black/white issue. Well, the school had a principal who was black from L.A. last year and he quit. I don't know his reasons why but that left the school board hanging. One of the women in my Sunday school class is a teacher at the high school and it hurts her what those idiots are saying. Yes, if you're from Blytheville and you're one of the persons who has made this a race issue with the white teachers not knowing how to teach black children, you are an idiot! I didn't know that there was a special way to teach black kids. It wasn't when I was growing up. One of my dearest and oldest friends is black. I asked her about all this race crap, and yes it is crap, going on right now and she said that the civil rights movement is over now it should be a unity movement and I totally agree.

I think that we as a country should be buying products from the US as much as possible and yes I know it is VERY hard. I have a hard time trying to find things not made in China. But that will be another blog.
