A must if your in East Texas

If you're like me there are some places where you feel most comfrotable at or in, the number one place is obviously where you live. You can be you, walk around naked if you dare. The other place could be anywhere, a park, a bookstore, library, basically any place other than home.

My second place is a bookstore/coffee shop in the town where we currently live in, The Horse's Mouth Bookstore and Coffee Shop. This is the first place that I ventured to when we finally got "settled".

Glen & Laura St. John, the owners, are just all around great people. Very friendly from the first time you step in the door and the next time you come back. They won't push you into conversation but they are very much into you when you do talk to them. This is their website The Horse's Mouth

Now for those of you who know me, know that I DO NOT like coffee, the smell is wonderful. Yes, they have other drinks go to the website and check it out or you can stop by and experience it first hand. Oh the whipped cream they make is AWESOME!!! I like the fact that you can be in your own little world or you can start a conversation with the other people there. Free Wi-Fi also.

If you're road weary and travelling from Dallas/Ft. Worth area to Houston on Interstate 45 or on Highway 79 from Tyler to Austin, this would be a great halfway stop for you! If you are a parent that has to have a swap point for kids with their grandparents or other parent (if you're separated)this is the place, you can relax get something to drink and or munch on maybe by a book. They've had parties there, meetings, and there are other things that you can do there. They have a scrabble nigh, open mic night. You've got to see it for yourself.

All in all this is a great place and anyone who comes and visits me it will be a must stop place for us. There are few places I feel this great about and this is one of them.

So please give these awesome people a chance. You WON'T regret it!
