AC/DC Concert!

Friday, January 30th 2009 my husband and I went to Memphis as mentioned in the last entry for the AC/DC concert. OMGosh! That was a great concert! I hate sounding like this but as old as those guys are and they put on a WONDERFUL show. I could have done without the potheads passing and puffing a few rows away from us but other than that quite entertaining. There were a lot of kids there. Like under the age of 13. It was cool. We were sitting in the nosebleed section but they had screens high up enough for us to see the concert. May I just say that wow some of the outfits that these girls were wearing, I say girls because the women who were at the concert were dressed trashy but a warm trashy, dare I say a respectable trashy. Me, I’m still nursing and have clothes that are starting to get too big on me so I dressed warmly, I’ve got my man and don’t need to impress anyone plus I had no power to even worry about putting on make-up or “dressing up”

I know I mentioned that the band is old. Time marches on and all over us. But as old as Angus is OMGosh he is amazing on the guitar. He did his usual strip tease, he was wearing AC/DC underwear this go around. I will say when Eddie Van Halen was in his prime he wouldn’t have held a candle to Angus then and now. Absolutely amazing I tell you. He did his signature drop down to the ground and go in circles while playing. He did it on a raised platform at the end of the runway. Ah it was wonderful!
