Well, while we were in Fayetteville, AR for the game there was a Walgreens across the street from the hotel we stayed at. We're trying to save money and since I have no income coming in I totally understand and have cut back alot. We're trying to reduce our carbon footprint by unplugging appliances that aren't in use and shut off, we have the house opened up and I thank God that it has been nice enough for us to do that. I drink a lot of water and we bought it from Wal-mart by the gallon jug. Well that was a lot of plastic, we have a place to where we can take our aluminum cans that's on the other side of town. This town doesn't have a decent recycling program. There was a place called that uses plastics but I've always been driving so I couldn't take down the name. I googled it, searched all over the net to see if there was a number and didn't find it. Well, we bought a water filtration system yesterday that attaches to the faucet. So slowly but surely we're trying. Oh I'm washing all the clothes with cold water, including the whites. Twice a month I wash them in hot water.
Well, to the point of why I'm a little leery. In the quest to save money we purchased a magic-jack at that Walgreens. So far so good. But I just don't like it, the customer reviews and now the fact that we have a new number with this thing and it's an Arkadelphia listing. I don't know where Arkadelphia is at! Same area code but that doesn't really calm my feeling. I'll keep you posted on my magic-jack journey, we still have the cellphones (for now-which I really don't like that idea that's another blog) and we still have the house line (for now). I hate being cheap. LOL!
*On a side note, the back pressure was so bad for my filter that we're back to square one on a filtration system.
