The weekend...

Interesting week. DH has been on vacation and he's been relaxing which he needs to be doing. He'll be going into the meltshop at work soon. So as much as I've wanted to nag and get him to work, but he's been hanging out with lil man. So there I can't complain. Although I love football, I love my Miami Dolphins I am officially tired of it.


Lil man will be 1 year old in 2 weeks. He walks around while holding on to things but really prefers crawling. He uses his walker. We're going to have a small birthday party at a bowling alley. We'd have it at the house but the dogs are sociable and we're not too sure how many people are going to be okay with them. Jackson (Bubba) is passive-aggressive he'll bark and growl at you while wagging his tail, even the hair on his back will stand up. Gracie just wants love and attention.

I finished a book yesterday. The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. Very good book, I wonder if they're going to make this a movie. Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors and would love to see him as "Professor Robert Langdon" again. I've read Angels & Demons and The DaVinci Code. The book is a little over 500 pages long.

Casting Crowns and Matt Redmon is going to be at Bellvue Baptist Church in Memphis on October 15th. We're trying to get a group from our church to go. I really hope that we get enough people to go. Speaking of which I need to call the church and see if it's going to be too loud for lil man. If not I've got to find a babysitter.

Well, I'm off to do some planning for lil man's bday party.
