Ok, I've seen the pictures, I've seen a bit of the video. Laughed at the memes, a lot. But my big questions are: who cares and what is the point of the VMAs anymore? Call me an old fashioned stick-in-the-mud, what ever you want, but there was a time that MTV showed music videos. Martha Quinn, Nina Blackwood, Alan Hunter, Mark Goodman, and J.J. (RIP) were the world's first VJs! When it was "Video Killed The Radio Star" and then, the company who brought us music videos 24/7 in turn killed the music video.
Yes, I'm an old woman but dang it I miss my MTV. Headbanger's Ball and Yo! MTV Raps. That is my generation. So I really don't understand it.
Oh about the Robin Thicke/Miley Cyrus thing. It wasn't pretty. She said she was going to do something that everyone would talk about. She accomplished her goal. Move on and learn from this. And use disinfectant.
